Just listened to your episode. I’ve also watched the documentary. I live in the upper Peninsula and travel quite frequently to iron River and Iron Mountain. The comments in the episode that there was not adequate police support is Not accurate. There are city police in both towns as well as state police post in both towns. . The unfortunate thing about documentaries is many of the facts in cases get blurred due to dramatization. If you were to travel to the area you would probably get a much different take on the case. This is in no way to belittle or dismiss the terrible crime that occurred. I would just caution Buying into the facts as they are presented by something done for entertainment. With that said I very much enjoy your show and listen to it as soon as episodes come out
